Things to be Kept in Mind while attacking for loot.
1. Find out Where the loot is present.
(Whether its in the Collectors or in the Storages.)
So, How to find Where the loot (Gold or elixir) is?
Identify the Collectors are empty or filled. Just have this look initially for any base you attack.
Below is the screen shot of empty and Filled gold mine and elixir collector. You will get most percentage of the loot ( May be whole Loot) from these if they are filled.
Attacks Should be targeted on the Collector primarily.. and the Storages that can be reached easily. No need of wasting your troops for Nothing.
Don't Worry about your Trophy Count..
It Never matters!!
2. Training Better Troops with Least training cost.
So, which is the best troop for loot.?
Here is best Groups..
Wall breakers (4-6), Giants(Just 2), and the mighty Barbarians (Higher the level of barbs , More will the hit point and the loot.)
3. Manage Training Time
Just Don't allow the Barracks to rest. If you have 4 barracks, then use 3 for only barbs, and the other one for wall breakers. Make sure you have put the maximum troops for training even though the army camps are full before going for every attack.
You will need just below 20000 elixir for training those whole capacity of 200.
And gain will be 6 to 15 times bigger...

Almost 20 Lakhs of Loot in Just 1 and half hours.
